It is surprising how many people think NPR is “liberal” since it is delivered by people (eg Nina Totenburg) with east coast snobbish accents. But if you listen and think about it, you may find that NPR is often promoting an anti-progressive agenda. Here is the latest example, from NPR morning news on Elizabeth Warren’s announcing her exploratory committee. They asked two “Democrats” for reactions.
The first said: “She’s just like Hillary. I voted for Hillary and I am happy I will be able to vote for Elizabeth Warren instead”
The second said: “I don’t like her much. I’ll vote for her but I would rather vote for Biden.
In a different medium, an online article, NPR made sure to spend 1/3 the discussion bringing us up to speed on Warrens “Pocohontas” problem.
Think about that? They make sure to tie Warren to the biggest D party losers of the past. They act as if similarity to Hillary is a good thing. They make sure to mention the DNA business. And they stay as far away as possible from any discussion of her policies.
Don’t be fooled by the liberal accents at NPR. Instead, think about boycotting their advertisers. Some of those big family foundations probably would not want to be branded as anti-progressive.
