A group of intrepid patriots braved the harsh weather (just kidding, I think it was in the 60’s and beautifully clear last night) in Davis, CA to bring a brightly lit IMPEACH sign to an overpass crossing I-80. (The sign is turned the wrong way just for the photo.) The small group is an offshoot of Indivisible Yolo and meets weekly. They are active in postcard writing, courthouse protesting, demonstrating at Garamendi’s office, and canvassing for many candidates, in Yolo County and throughout northern CA. Basically, there is an opportunity to perform whatever resistance activity you feel you can do. They report that there was an enthusiastic honking of support from passing cars. (It is Davis, CA after all.)
They had discussed the great highway resistance efforts in WI for a while and it would seem the group figured out how to replicate WI’s efforts for maximum effect out west.
Threaten to withhold emergency funds from us again and the orange shitgibbon may get to see these all over the state soon.
Great job, morning Covfefe group!
