Hi folks — Longtime Kossack here. I’ve seen a few diaries about the YouTube commentator Beau of the Fifth Column, whose work I enjoy. Yes, yes, those of us on the progressive left have known these truths to be self-evident for… forever. And men, women and color have been making arguments enough to demonstrate the righteousness of our cause going all the way back to Frederick Douglass, and even further. But in the age of YouTube (which unfortunately can be a cesspool of incel/MGTOW/right-wing revolutionary looney bin rhetoric) it seems to be a breath of fresh air. Now comes Dollemore Daily, another self-proclaimed former Republican white male whose first two videos I’ve watched have specifically cited the Southern Strategy and voter suppression aimed at people of color as being his reasons for leaving the right wing. This is part three of his “why I left the republican party” series. Again our voices count first and foremost, but it’s nice to see white men (and especially former republicans) doing their part to publicly make amends for their sins (and not just cause they’re heading to jail):
EDIT: if you enjoy, make sure to give them a like on YouTube and subscribe. Same with Beau. We need to show YouTube (and Google, who owns them) that progressives want their voices heard.
