I watched a scary commercial tonight that bothered me again. It showed in Renton, near Seattle, sponsored by AARP that ‘asked’ Congress to support ‘Medicare’. There was no definition. No comparison between Democratic or Republican proposals. No defining the difference between what the Congress and the Senate wants, The Senate wasn’t even mentioned at all. This was the very same timeframe that President Trump proposed legislation that will cut $818 Billion from Medicare. When there is a crisis, whose side are you on?
I keep getting mailers from the AARP asking me to join them as I am now 51. They offer me a backpack, or grocery holder, or something. Still, whose side are they on?
They better know that I will not give the AARP a penny until I know whose side they are on. Generation X is cynical, and generally frugal with contributions. Whose side are they on?
When their current contributors dry up whose side will we be on?
Define yourself for us AARP.
