I decided not to watch the elections. But I voted. Early.
I am just checking now.
I do not believe the counts.
It matters who is counting.
It matters who the governor and who the secretary of state is who manages the counts.
It matters if a governor is loyal to Trump.
I mean we all know Kemp managed the counting of votes in Georgia when he ran for governor and he won the governorship.
And we know Kemp then installed some new malfunctioning voting machines this year.
But we trust the vote. And I voted.
It matters that Trump’s guy is running the USPS and blocking the mail-in-votes.
And nobody can do anything about it because no matter what a judge says, Trump and his guy will just shrug their shoulders and do nothing.
The COVID-19 death counts are not going to the CDC anymore, they go to Trump’s guy at the HHS.
So Trump does not shy away from changing, hiding or rerouting numbers that are inconvenient to him.
We know that.
When people where saying enthusiastically, “Oh Biden can win Florida”, I was thinking: “No. The FBI reported the Russians hacked Florida voting machines. and NOBODY cared to investigate. And the vote counts in all elections looked skewed since 2016.”
De Santis was behind when he won in 2018.
But I said nothing.
To me, it looks like America has become Russia.
My glimmer of hope is that someone in power, maybe the militarily or the FBI, in these last moments of a failed Democracy, when we see the abyss, that someone comes to the rescue.
Sorry. I don’t believe the numbers. But I voted.
No president who was ahead in the national polling has lost the election in 30 years, except for Hillary and now perhaps Biden.
Blame it on the electoral college.
But that is just one big flaw.
Let’s be realistic.
The numbers should not be so close because the polling was not so close.
No matter what happens, the numbers should not be so close.
So even if Biden wins, America’s Democracy is at the brink of collapse.
