I’m not watching TV, just looking at numbers from the NYTimes site and some others.
GA is still in play at 2:30 AM. Right now, Trump leads, 50.6% to 48.1%. However, there are enough uncounted votes in Democratic leaning counties that it’s mathematically possible for Biden to win the state by the slimmest of margins. GA has 16 Electoral College (EC) votes.
The Times is forecasting that Biden wins the state by 0.4%, as of 2:30 AM.
Counting will not be complete in GA until Wednesday at the earliest.
Biden’s at 225 EC votes right now, per the Times. Wins in NV, AZ and ME would give him 21 more EC Votes. He hasn't won those states yet and I’m not counting any chickens before they hatch. But if he does win those states, that’s 246 EC votes.
Add a GA win to that, and Biden can get to 270 with only one victory in PA, MI, WI, and thus win it all.
A key priority at this point must be to ensure there is no hanky-panky with the uncounted votes. I’m sure this point has been raised on TV. I hope the Dems already have an action plan on paper and are ready and able to implement it.
