I've been supporting a candidate, Anton Andrew, for the Pennsylvania State Legislature in Pa's Democratic Primary (which is at the end of April). His Democratic opponent in the primary just filed a court challenge, on a technicality, claiming that Andrew's filed signatures aren't valid because Andrew misrepresented his occupation. In the words of the local Democratic Club chair "Challenging a petition filing is a hostile act that should be reserved for Democrat vs. Republican battles. Simply put, Democrats do not do this to other Democrats."
I emailed the opponent, the Democrat who launched this underhanded maneuver, (Cathy Spahr), asking her to drop her unwarranted, expensive court challenge. Money should be going to defeating Republicans, not attacking fellow Democrats.
The candidate is Cathy Spahr and her email address is cathy@spahr4pa.com. Please send her messages politely asking her to drop her court challenge — that’s not how Democrats should conduct themselves. Thanks.
