WaPo is reporting that before he was appointed to destroylead the USPS, DeJoy would raise money for the GOP by having his employees contribute and then pay them back with large bonuses.
Louis DeJoy’s prolific campaign fundraising, which helped position him as a top Republican power broker in North Carolina and ultimately as head of the U.S. Postal Service, was bolstered for more than a decade by a practice that left many employees feeling pressured to make political contributions to GOP candidates — money DeJoy later reimbursed through bonuses, former employees say.
As you might imagine, that’s very illegal and just the kind of thing people get sent to jail for. From the article, it appears the federal statute of limitations has expired for these actions… but the article mentions there’s no such time limit for state charges. Of course, if Trump is re-elected, or NC decides to do nothing, he might still escape justice. Thus, vote for Biden and down ballot dems in NC (and everywhere), so maybe, just maybe, we’ll get to see this asshole do the frog march.

Apparently he was asked about this under oath by Rep Jim Cooper, and DeJoy denied it.
The statute of limitations has run out for fed charges on the campaign contributions, but we still got lots of time left for perjury charges!!
