We can’t wander far, so instead I’m wandering near — instead of traveling the globe like I had planned I’m holed up on Cape Cod for the winter. It turns out to be a great time of year to hike. There are no bugs, no traffic, and clear views of the quirky landscape that’s usually hidden by trees and overgrowth.
And there are so many trails hidden in the conservation lands, wildlife refuges, and, of course, beaches that checkerboard the Cape. Who knew?
Anyone else out and about? It’s a great day for a walk.
