A woman who pleaded guilty to a charge related to the January 6 insurrection says she watched movies including "Schindler's List," the 1993 Steven Spielberg film on the Holocaust, for education after the riot.
According to a court filing, Anna Morgan Lloyd, 49, from Indiana, pleaded guilty to one count of parading, demonstrating, or picketing in the Capitol.
Lloyd was arrested February 24 along with a friend, Dona Sue Bissey, 52. Bissey posted a photo of herself and Lloyd on Facebook, with the location tag "Inside Capitol Building." A court document seen by Insider says that Bissey called their outing the "Best f---ing day ever" in a Facebook post while Lloyd said in a Facebook comment that her day in the Capitol was the "most exciting day of my life."
Lloyd's lawyer Heather Shaner raised several points in her client's defense, arguing that Lloyd deserved to be given the "just and fair sentence" of probation, 40 hours of community service, and a $500 fine for her actions.
Oh FFS!! As if this faux contrition is real. She’ll be right out there during the next riot, and what movie will she watch to educate herself then?
I am sick to death of the preferential treatment these people are getting.
