I hope the campaign strategists stick with ineffective robocalling.
Setting: my landline number with an answering machine in a solidly Democratic voting precinct in a D area of my state that usually elects Rs.
I keep the ringer off. So all of a sudden, a message is playing and Iʼm hearing a familiar voice. Well, it was S. Palin herself, explaining that she is a candidate and saying “Yes, I call him President still.”
More calls since then, robocalling for June 11 special primary (filling the remainder of Don Youngʼs US House term)
Additional calls have been from an old guy whining. Yes, longwinded messages from D. Trump, including “she was popular and a real MAGA”.
Now we are consistent super-voters here. Iʼm a registered Democrat in a state where most register as Nonpartisan or Undeclared
