Right now on CNN mobile homepage the Lead story is titled "The two words no president ever wants to hear."
The link leads to a page which has almost no text but has an embeded video. That video never discusses those two words but it is a two minute and twenty three second long empty innuendo. What is it an innuendo about? Well, the headline hints at it - something awful. Something omninous. Something wrong. Something bad in the form of an office Floorplan. The Floorplan has..... Closets..... Hilited in yellow... Yes, and it also has an office...... In blue.
I'm adding the link even though the video doesn't actually say anything of meaning.
I'm not familiar with the names of the talking heads but it's painful to watch them struggle with the word salad of applying deep negativity, espionage and danger to an office Floorplan. Trying to somehow word salad it into some idea that a foyer which leads to an office which has closets is - I don't even know what.
It gets even worse when they mention with absolutely zero context or follow up that Bidens staffer sat in the office at times.
"According to a source Cathy Cheung [emphasis flagrantly applied by the CNN host] sat at a desk directly outside of Biden's office". She goes on to state that "Now this is significant because Cheung, who now works at the Pentagon', was interviewed regarding the documents"
If you are lost trying to find anything significant about her in my transcription of this conversation, it's not you, there isn't anything significant to a casual viewer any more than there is something significant about an office having closets....... Aside from the fact that her Asian name can be said loudly and firmly three times to make sure you know that an Asian person was working near the classified documents.
I have a serious question. Did anyone see a Floorplan of Mar A Lago and the closets there? How about a discussion of whose working space or living space was in proximity to the office?
Moreso did anyone see an on depth discussion of such a Floorplan as a full fledged news story in the Lead Position on any news outlet?
I thought maybe I would Google it and see "Mar a lago Floorplan Trump Documents". For me, the top listings are all about Biden and his office. So, that would be a no (see screenshot below)
Anyhow, I more or less stopped looking at CNN a while ago but it's really awful to see what has happened to them.
My headline of this story was just about as subtle as their story itself. I was calling out CNN for being Fox Lite. I don't even know if "Lite" fits.
