Her name at the shelter was “Stacey,” but I think I’m going to call her “Astraea,” a Greek goddess whose return heralded a new Golden Age. She’s a light brown tabby with spotted on her size, a couple of red patches on her head and neck, and a long, whippy tail. She’s extremely affectionate, purred in my lap on the way home, and is already settling down in an isolation room in the basement. I love her already.
