I shouldn’t have to say this, but I’m not taking any chances. It has to be said. And it has to be taken to heart: Do not pardon the unpardonable. Uphold Justice. Uphold the Constitution. Support and strengthen the rule of law. Ensure accountability now, and for the future. Make history. Make it real history by setting an example where Justice and the law triumph.
Pardoning Trump for the unpardonable isn't a sign of compassion or a signal for "healing" to begin. It's an abdication of responsibility to hold him to account. It's a failure to perform the duties of President, failure to uphold Justice, and failure to uphold the Constitution.
Hold Trump accountable to fullest extent of the law, and then fully investigate and prosecute each and every accomplice.
It’s the law. It’s not a game. And it sends the most important message of all to any who would threaten democracy, the rule of law, or our own humanity: justice matters. Accountability matters.
