UPDATE: ISIS is claiming responsibility for the attack, but there is no evidence that they actually did.
It may be that we will never find out what really happened here because Russia cannot be trusted to conduct a believable investigation.
There was a mass shooting in Russia that has left more than 50 dead. The shooting was in Krasnogorsk, which is a northwest suburb of Moscow. Reports say four gunmen in camo broke in to a concert theater and started firing and threw a Molotov cocktail. It took more than an hour for Russian special forces to respond.
The theater had a capacity of 6,200 and it was reported to be sold out so the eventual casualty toll might be quite high.
The roof of the building has reportedly collapsed and there are reports that one suspect has been detained.
Who carried this out is not known, but Russia will no doubt blame it on Ukraine. There are suggestions that this is a false flag attack by Russia, perhaps to gain public support for a large-scale mobilization, but that isn’t clear either.
The “Blame Ukraine” program has already started. A van with old Ukrainian plates in Moscow? Seriously?
Ukraine has already denied any involvement.
US and UK intelligence warned two weeks ago of an imminent terrorist attack.
There was also an evacuation of a shopping center in St. Petersburg but no reason was given for it.
Russia launched a broad attack against Ukraine’s energy infrastructure, using more than 150 missiles and drones and hitting the big hydroelectric dam on the Dnipro River.
These didn’t make it through.
Kharkiv was hit by 15 missiles, plunging the city into a blackout.
I get the obsession with gas prices, but making Russia pay a painful price is more important.
Meanwhile, in Belgorod, aka the DPRB …
Should have stayed home.
Note how lopsided the losses are.
Somebody get the marshmallows.
Two Russians supposedly manning an electronic warfare unit get chased from one dugout to another by drones.
This is some next-level gaslighting.
Ukraine has been demilitarized — except for the Leopards and Abrams, the HIMARS launchers, ATACMS, Storm Shadows, Bradleys, Patriots, Stingers, Javelins, Caesars, Strikers, Challengers, Krabs, GLSDBs, Gepards, IRIS-T, NASAMS, etc.
Unfortunately a number of Democrats have not signed the petition because it would include aid to Israel.
Let’s all hope he gets back to see his baby.
