Bush's hand-picked WMD commission has basically exonerated the administration for Iraq while laying the blame squarely on the shoulders of the intelligence community. But the
evidence is contrary to their pathetic attempt at a white-wash.
Please renew your demand for Part B of the Report on the U.S.
Intelligence Community's Prewar Intelligence Assessments on Iraq. Republicans, on a party-line vote, delayed any specific investigation of undue administration influence until after the election, but the investigators stumbled across the following evidence anyway.
One would think that if they didn't have anything to hide, the Republican Committee leadership would have wanted the administration exonerated before the election.

Pages 305-307 of last year's
Senate Intelligence Committee report make a clear case for administration pressure to bias CIA intelligence reporting to support the push to war.
A June 2002 report entitled Iraq and al-Qaida: Interpreting a Murky Relationship, was written in response "to senior policymaker interest
in a comprehensive assessment of Iraqi regime links to al-Qa'ida." The
Deputy Director for Intelligence, the CIA's highest-ranking analyst,
testified, "I was asking the people who were writing it to lean far forward and do a speculative piece. If you were going to stretch to the maximum the evidence you had, what could you come up with?"
The Committee questioned the Ombudsman [investigating allegations of
pressure surrounding the report] as to whether the analysts he had
interviewed during his investigation had indicated that they were
pressured to change their analysis. He stated that he spoke with
approximately 24 individuals with regard to this issue, and "about
half a dozen mentioned 'pressure' from the Administration; several
others did not use that word, but spoke in a context that implied it."
There is
more info on Part B of the Senate Intel Report as promised by Senator Roberts before the election here.
Now that the election is over and the www.wmd.gov report is out, PLEASE CALL THE COMMITTEE MEMBERS AND ASK FOR PART B of their "Report on the U.S. Intelligence Community's Prewar Intelligence Assessments on Iraq."
Thank you sincerely.
