From CNN:
Waidelich's mother, Monika, said she believes she saw Obama in Honolulu's Kapi'olani Medical Center next to her son in 1961.
"In those days, there were hardly any other black babies," she said.
The hospital wouldn't show patient records from 1961, but the state's African-American population was less than 1% at the time.
Regardless of the evidence, there may be no convincing some of those who question the president's origins.
"I find it a bit amusing in the sense that (the issue) keeps resurfacing over and over again," Fukino said. "It really tells us that the whole conspiracy notion is out there (and) that if there is an issue that needs a following, they will find one.
"No matter what you do or say, it make no difference," she said.
Evidence is a threat to the right. Evidence means the right actually has to think through their logic and defend their assertions. Evidence means their opinions are neither correct nor intelligent.
And evidence means that the only reason they cannot put down their seething hatred of the President is because of the only explanation that exists: They are racists.
Face it, you miserable, angry people - you "Birthers". You WANT to convince the world that you have a legitimate cause here. You feel it falling apart. You fear that the conflict you have with yourselves that you are too shallow to examine is all locked up in your ability to believe only what you want to believe.
That has been your problem in the voting booth. You can't fathom real events and actual facts so you vote for the people who make you feel better. What they hell are you, fucking children? I guess so. Difference is, children have the right to want to feel protected from the world. For you people, it is just more evidence of your cowardice.
Real men and women face the world as it is. They don't crumble when things don't go their way, they don't push inconvenient facts aside because they are too overwhelming to deal with. They don't judge others and their reaction to others by narrow, racist ignorance.
But you people. You think you're so tough. So courageous. So right. So pure in your convictions that the world needs to see things only the way you see things and accept only white people to the top offices. So determined in making sure that you and yours can be the only one's to selfishly benefit from the good graces of this country while those who don't meet your standards should keel over and die.
Well, you're wrong on the birther issue. You have ALWAYS been wrong. But I'll tell you something that's right that you cannot break down. You are all racists. Every non-racist can see that. And, as always, real racists are the last people to see themselves for what they are.
