First, the how-to guide:
Here at Top Comments we round up some of the site's best, funniest, most mojo'd and most informative commentary. We depend on your help with talent spotting. My name is brillig, and I downloaded Angry Birds this weekend for my iPhone...
I thought I could handle it. I laughed at a friend who, when I told him I'd downloaded the app, said "Remember to take breaks every few hours." This is me, I said... I don't play many games on my iPhone, and can put it down whenever I want.
For the uninitiated, the goal of Angry Birds is to kill pigs. Yup. That's it. By launching avian missiles at said pigs, attempting to hit, squash, crush or otherwise smash the bacon. Different types of birds have different powers, and the goal is to garner high scores as you level up.
Have you ever experienced the thrill of slingshotting an Angry Bird at a heavily-fortified Pig compound, trying to kill those porcine purloiners of poultry pre-progeny? It's better than sex pretty damned exhilarating!
I discovered Pigs With Helmets last nite around midnite, and announced at dinner tonite that I'd unlocked a level which introduced me to exploding black birds. K1's response: "Wow Mom, I only just got to that level a little while ago. Didn't you only start playing this weekend?"
I can handle it. See, I'm making time to do my Top Comments. I promise I won't become like this woman:
Now, if you'll excuse me, as a reward for leveling the damned pigs at 2-6, I've gonna learn a bit about negotiating peace treaties and watch a bit of Monty Python.

Before I do either of those, there's Top Comments to be had!!
From commonmass:
This comment from decembersue in Jed Lewison's diary Bin Laden's Suburban Lifestyle:Stocked Coke and Pepsi, Lived Near Golf Course is classic.
From Julie Gulden:
Ha! This creative comment by Empower Ink is from memememe's (did I get the correct # of me's?!) overcomb diary. Kossacks are sooo creative!
Diarist's note: yes, yes that was the right amount :-) Edited to read "add one more me"
From Seneca Doane:
In Armando's diary on torture today, Ice Blue referenced something I didn't know and that I'll be many others here didn't know as well: that the top interrogator for the Nazis, who later was allowed into the U.S. to teach our interrogators, was completely opposed to torture and effectively used the techniques that became the staple of anti-torture advocates within our organizations. Everyone who wants to be well-informed about torture in interrogations should read the comment and follow its link.
From Dragon5616:
Penman answered the claim that "Obama didn't kill bin Laden" in Stand Strong's recommended diary While You Are Entitled To Your Opinion, You Are Not Entitled To Your Own Facts.
From mcmom:
This one by drudge222 in Joan McCarter's Rumsfeld confirms: Waterboarding did not net intelligence that led to bin Laden is definitely a best comment.
From SeattleTammy:
This comment by LeftOfYou just missed last night's deadline.
From Yours Truly, brillig:
Stand Strong's While You Are Entitled To Your Own Opinions, You Are Not Entitled To Your Own Facts was all kinds of awesome. If Top Mojo existed today, this nugget by i understand would have been near the top the list.
Top Mojo,how we miss thee...
