I got here a little late to participate in the discussion in LaFeminista's awe-inspiring diary showing the photo in a Brooklyn Hasidic newspaper in which Hillary Clinton and Audrey Tomasen are excised from the now-famous Obama War Room photo at the time of the bin Laden raid. It struck me that of course they new that they weren't going to fool anyone here by erasing women out of this history; they planned for people to notice! They wanted to tweak we modernists and how better to do it? So outrage somehow does not seem like the perfect reaction to these shmendriks. (Look it up.)
Then I had an inspiration, something that would get them right in the kishkas. That thing on the other end of the eraser? It's called the point of a pencil. And if they're redrawing history, we can make sure that they get the point. So: come below the fluffy beard with me for a little look.
Here's a photo taken in 1993. Some people mistakenly think that the Satmar Hasidim here were honoring Rudy Giuliani here, but I've been able to produce photographic proof of what was really going on:
Two can play at this game, boychicks! You write Hillary out of history, we write her back in!
So the contest: grab your photoshop tools and insert Hillary (and Audrey, if you feel like it) into as many Hasidic images as you can, so they will know that if they pull this sort of stunt, they end up on the wrong end of it.
The winner gets a copy of the above photo, printed out at Costco and mailed to your address (should you wish to reveal it, or to someone else's address if you don't.)
