Dear Mr Romney I know you find that government helping people in their darkest hour immoral, I also know there is no place in today's GOP for moderates. Instead you want to make disaster become a profitable industry which if it becomes anything like the health care industry it will prove to be overpriced, inefficient and only available to those that can afford it.
I just thought I would let you and your fellow Tea Partiers know what I find immoral:
Over 50 million without health care insurance and continually fighting against Affordable Health Care for America Act 2009.
Urging cutting Federal Nutrition programs that will rob our poorest of even their most basic needs.
Leading a campaign to put women's lives at risk by causing "abortion" outrage and desperately trying to defund one of the few organizations that cares and is affordable to all.
Giving tax cuts to the wealthiest Americans when millions are without even the solace of a job which pays a living wage or without any work at all.
When the medicaid program is being cut across the country after bailing out the Wall St fat-cats who have now returned to pre-recession salaries and bonuses even if this means making some employees redundant.
Refusing to admit that the weight of scientific data indicates climate change is actually happening and willfully refusing even to make the slightest effort to mitigate the problem.
When you and you fellow Tea Partiers talk about taking your country back I find this immoral since you appear to be only representing the top 1%.
Yes, there are a number of immoral actions occurring across the country; but helping people in their hour of need is not one of them.
