Apparently Mitt Romney was all drawled out on Mississippi and Alabama
Either he's not that confident or he's not that gracious or maybe a bit of both, but Mitt Romney won't thank his supporters in Mississippi or Alabama with a party tonight when the polls close. In fact, he's already left town to campaign in Missouri—and plans to be flying
when results are announced.
Romney’s decision to skip Alabama and Mississippi on Tuesday may also be an effort to lower expectations in the two states. Romney did not mention those contests during his St. Louis appearance. His campaign said Romney would be flying when the two states’ results were announced, and would not give the customary speech to supporters afterward.
If Willard pulls a win out of his grits, something tells me his travel plans will change and we'll hear from him tonight. I'm not calling him a liar or anything. But just sayin' ...
