So things that the majority of Americans depend on for health and essential transportation are okay to get rid of. What about 54% of our budget going to the Military Industrial Complex? Can we start there instead? It would seem we have not only cut away essential services for the general welfare to the bone we have ignored the really big ticket items that would make a real difference to the budget. Can the sacred cow status of military spending become not so sacred?
