Tonight we're liveblogging primary results in four states: Connecticut (polls close at 8pm ET), Florida (7pm ET in most of the state, 8pm in the panhandle), Minnesota (9pm), Wisconsin (9pm). Our writeup of all the key federal and statewide races can be found
here.
Results: Connecticut | Florida | Minnesota | Wisconsin
6:17 PM PT: I don't understand why there's no call in FL-19 (R): Trey Radel is up 32-19 over his nearest opponent with 99% reporting.
6:17 PM PT: Looks like these races are also still outstanding in Florida, though some are foregone conclusions and just lack AP checkmarks: FL-02 (D), FL-03 (R), FL-06 (R), FL-24 (D), FL-26 (D).
6:20 PM PT: The count in CT-05 isn't moving with any great speed, with only 36% reporting. On the GOP side, Andrew Roraback leads Mark Greenberg 38-25. For Dems, Elizabeth Esty is up 46-30 over Chris Donovan, with Dan Roberti back at 24.
6:23 PM PT: The first votes are trickling in in Wisconsin.
6:25 PM PT: No AP call, but Florida Dems have sent around a press release congratulating ex-state Sen. Al Lawson on his win in FL-02 (D).
6:26 PM PT: Only 4% reporting so far in WI-02 (D), but Mark Pocan is up big, 65-29 over fellow state Rep. Kelda Roys.
6:28 PM PT: There are a few votes now in Minnesota as well.
6:31 PM PT: The MN SoS site appears to be slightly ahead of the AP.
6:33 PM PT: FL-06 (R) has finally been called for Club for Growth fave Ron DeSantis, who crushes his nearest opponent 40-22. Same with FL-19 (R), where Trey Radel is the victory by a 30-22 margin over Chauncey Goss.
6:40 PM PT: In the very early going in WI-Sen (R) (4% reporting), it's neck-and-neck between Eric Hovde (33%) and Tommy Thompson (32%). Mark Neumann is back at 25%.
6:42 PM PT: There's basically no way Cliff Stearns can come back now. He's down over 800 votes with just 3 precincts left to count. Wow.
6:46 PM PT: The AP has called CT-05 (D) for Elizabeth Esty, though it recently got a bunch tighter. She leads Chris Donovan 43-35 with 70% reporting.
6:47 PM PT: We finally have the first view votes showing up in MN-08 (D).
6:49 PM PT: FL-24 (D) is called for Rep. Frederica Wilson, who handily dispatches Rudy Moise, 67-33.
6:50 PM PT: Down in FL-26 (D), Joe Garcia is looking pretty good, up 53-32 over Gloria Romero Roses with 72% reporting.
6:51 PM PT: We're up to 11% reporting in WI-Sen (R) and Tommy Thompson leads Eric Hovde by under 300 votes, tied at 32% apiece.
6:55 PM PT: CT-05 has also gotten tighter on the GOP side, with Andrew Roraback leading Mark Greenberg 34-29, with 72% reporting.
6:57 PM PT: The MN-01 GOP primary is as tight as the convention was: Mike Parry leads Allen Quist just 51-49 with 9% reporting.
6:59 PM PT: Races we're still following: FL-03 (R), FL-26 (D), CT-05 (R), MN-01 (R), MN-08 (D), WI-02 (D), WI-Sen (R).
7:05 PM PT: The AP calls CT-05 (R) for Andrew Roraback, very probably the toughest potential GOP nominee.
7:07 PM PT: Nice! The FL-26 Dem primary was just called for Joe Garcia, who will now face GOP Rep. David Rivera in a rematch.
7:13 PM PT: The liveblog continues here.
