This is just a heads up diary. A new poll just came out at 10pm eastern schedule for October 11 2012. http://www.scribd.com/...
PHILADELPHIA (October 11, 2012)–
In a new Philadelphia Inquirer Pennsylvania poll presented by Susquehanna Bank and published this morning, President Barack Obama leads Republican PresidentialNominee Mitt Romney by 8 points among likely voters in Pennsylvania, with 50% of voters in favor of the President and 42% in favor of Romney. The first presidential debate appears to have notsignificantly impacted poll respondents in changing their candidate preference, with data indicating a3-point decrease in Obama’s lead in the Garden State since the last Inquirer
public opinion poll waspublished in September following the national conventions. The current poll was conducted October 4through October 8 among 600 voters in Pennsylvania who are likely to cast a ballot in the November 6presidential election, with a margin of error +/- 4%
Obama: 50 percent
Romney: 42 percent
These are likely voters.
7:56 PM PT: There's a little confusion. This pollster did 2 polls(PA,NJ) The NJ poll is 51 to 40 for Obama. Remember this poll is coming out tomorrow so some may get mixed up. That's why I just gave the PA poll. :)
8:02 PM PT: Thanx 4 rec. I hope these polls help people exhale today.
8:50 PM PT: Michigan-- Obama 49 Romney 42 http://www.detroitnews.com/...
NBC/WSJ/Marist: Va:R-48 O:47 FL:O-48 R-47 OHIO: O-51 R-45
10:33 PM PT: Don't get too excited, but the internals of the Ohio poll states Obama rec'd 20 percent(abt 1.2 mil) in early voting. Obama crushed Romney in early voting, if this is true it will be hard for Romney to win Ohio. People are discussing this on Twitter now. Stay focused and engaged.
