The last time we had a meetup at Union Station it was
October, so the weather was cool enough that I could wear my orange jacket vest and my husband could wear his heavy orange plaid shirt. My vest is a rusty orange and the orange in my husband's plaid shirt leaned toward reddish orange, but it was the best we could do with our orange challenged wardrobes.
Yesterday I went out and bought bright orange shirts -- suitable for late spring/early summer -- for both myself and my husband, so we are prepared for the June 9th meetup at Union Station.
If you follow my meetup diaries, you'll have to forgive me for recycling the pictures I used in the earlier meetups. I don't have that much time to search for copyright free pictures this week, and anyway, I really like the pictures.
I am looking forward to seeing some of the members from Daily Kos I met at previous meetups and hope to meet some new kossacks. If you live in the DC metro area -- Maryland, Virginia, DC, or even West Virginia -- we'd love it if you could come.
Details:
June 9th, from 12:30 - 4:40 pm.
Union Station, DC
Food court. For the last meetup, JTinDC scouted out the area for us and identified a great location that has plenty of tables and doesn't get too crowded. It's roughly at the halfway point between each end of the food court, underneath the "up" escalator on the opposite side of the foot court from Flamers, and near the Aditi Indian Kitchen.

I realize that orange isn't everyone's color and you might not have it in your wardrobe. But if you do, consider wearing it that day.
