The world waits with bated breath as a young woman in the UK goes into the hospital for the birth of her first child. News organizations stand ready to trumpet every available detail of the birth to a globe hungry for stories from the royal birthing bed.
Which gives me an idea for a little DKos contest:
What will be the most important, significant, actually-impacting-on-the-lives-of-real-people story to get lost today, shoved off the page and screen by breathless accounts of what species of flowers in the bouquets delivered from Balmoral and if the new mum breatfeeds the new heir-but-two?
Because an event like this is a godsend to people with stories they'd like to see ignored, better than a year of Friday afternoons.
