While reading through the pages of Truthdig the other day I came across this comment below posted by Jack Gabel:
“origins of Al Qaeda and the 9/11 memory still shackle their minds – either they’re unwitting useful fools or rich assets – jihadi terrorism is a product of western intelligence – it’s their Arab Foreign Legion – it’s not blow back nor incompetence – convenient cover”
Gabel went on to say:
“they want nothing but chaotic failed states – the war criminals running the western so-called democracies carry water for the global finance oligarchy,”

The same Corporate Media that apologized for beating the drums of war that took us into Iraq are now as we speak pounding those same drums to drive us into Syria and then on to Iran. MSNBC, FOX, CNN all dutifully broadcasted the carefully arranged bodies of woman and children “allegedly” killed by chemical attacks by the Syrian military. MSNBC’s Chris Hayes to his credit stated that this amateurish cell phone video and all claims came straight from the so-called Rebels and they (MSNBC) had no way of verifying the validly of the video or the Rebel’s statements: yet he and all the other cable stations repeated the gruesome footage all day on a Rev. Jeremiah Wright, type loop.
With the CIA finally after all these years declassifying files that confirms that they along with the company that now calls itself BP did indeed overthrow Iran’s Democratically elected government (Mossadegh) in 1953 for daring to nationalize their own oil. The push toward conflict with Syria should be seen as clearing the way to retake Iran.

Even though some in the Corporate Media can still smell a “false-flag” operation like the assignation attempt on a Saudi Arabian Ambassador a while back by the Iranians they did the bidding of their corporate masters any way and repeatedly broadcasted the allegations anyway.
At no point was there any attempt to “investigate” the story or question the source.
"Israel insists that the Syrian government did it. The Times of Israel reported that Israel Defense Force intelligence was listening in on Syrian leadership during the chemical weapons attack. The article went on to claim that the source of most of the information that U.S. has about Syria is Israeli—which is a devastating claim, if true, since Israel is the country that wants a war between the U.S. and Syria’s ally, Iran, and with Hezbollah. Has the U.S. government no better intelligence in this matter than what it gets secondhand from Israel, the country that has a vital interest in promoting an expanded war?"

The same thing can be said about this latest accusation by the Rebels that the Syrian Military has yet again used chemical weapons on it’s own people. Bashar al-Assad’s forces hold 14 of Syria’s 15 cities. Assad knows that the West by drawing this so-called “red line” is itching to re-colonize Syria and put him to death just as they did Gaddafi in Libya using the same Saudi backed Islamic fanatics as cover.
Patrick Cockburn of the “Independent writes:
“The evidence so far for the use of chemical weapons by the Syrian army is second-hand and comes from a biased source”
http://www.independent.co.uk/...
Cockburn goes on to say:
“Like the Iraqi opposition to Saddam, who provided most of the evidence of WMDs, the Syrian opposition has every incentive to show the Syrian government deploying chemical weapons in order to trigger foreign intervention.”
When Saddam used chemical weapons on his own people and killed countless Iranians with chemicals who supplied him with these WMD's? We did. Is it so far fetched to assume we (the West) would do it again in Syria? It's not like we (the West) do not have a history of starting civil wars in that region. Recall what Move On called General David Petraeus out for: arming both sides in Iraq to maintain chaos while we extract the oil.
Update:
I just learned today that the Obama administration is planing "surgical" strikes with cruise missile inside of Syria: shades of Libya!

Abraham Lincoln once said “you can fool some of the people some of the time; all of the people some of the time, but you can not fool all of the people all of the time!
Or in our case, FOOLED ME ONCE, CAN’T BE FOOLED AGAIN! G.W. Bush.
