Laura Ingraham highlighted herself as a hate-radio host as she envisioned using a shotgun to assassinate Rep. John Lewis during his MLK speech.  On her radio show, Ingraham played Rep. Lewis giving his speech, when she allowed a shotgun blast stop Rep. Lewis's speech in mid-sentence ... followed by a moment of silence.  (Time stamp 4:23 of audio)

Clearly, Laura Ingraham intended to give the illusion to her listeners that Rep. Lewis was assassinated in the middle of his speech.  Yeah, that's the mind-set of these rightwingers.  They spread lies, hate and now, Laura Ingraham takes her their listeners to wallow in her repugnant mind where she images using a shotgun to assassinate black Congressional leaders.

Who will Laura Ingraham envision using her shotgun to assassinate next?

Prior to her imagined assassination of Rep. Lewis, she spouts about the "violent crime" statistics in the "black community" but fails to mention that the violent crime rate is much higher among whites than blacks.

The most recent Violent Crime data is from the 2011 FBI Table 43

FBI: Total Violent Crime Stats:
69.2% committed by whites
28.4% committed by blacks

1.5% committed by Native Americans and/or Native Alaskans
0.9 committed by Asian or Pacific Islanders
I have always maintained that TeaParty haters fail basic math -- someone should really tell Laura Ingraham that 69.2% violent crime by whites is much higher than 28.4% violent crimes committed by blacks.

Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity and Mike Levine have all realized they can profit millions by simply spreading hate on radio.  Looks like Laura Ingraham wants to one-up them by actually giving the illusion that she used a shotgun to assassinate Rep. John Lewis in the middle of his speech ... talk about low-life Tea Party people - Wow!

More Tagging tips:

A tag is a way to search for this diary. If someone is searching for "Barack Obama," is this a diary they'd be trying to find?

Use a person's full name, without any title. Senator Obama may become President Obama, and Michelle Obama might run for office.

If your diary covers an election or elected official, use election tags, which are generally the state abbreviation followed by the office. CA-01 is the first district House seat. CA-Sen covers both senate races. NY-GOV covers the New York governor's race.

Tags do not compound: that is, "education reform" is a completely different tag from "education". A tag like "reform" alone is probably not meaningful.

Consider if one or more of these tags fits your diary: Civil Rights, Community, Congress, Culture, Economy, Education, Elections, Energy, Environment, Health Care, International, Labor, Law, Media, Meta, National Security, Science, Transportation, or White House. If your diary is specific to a state, consider adding the state (California, Texas, etc). Keep in mind, though, that there are many wonderful and important diaries that don't fit in any of these tags. Don't worry if yours doesn't.
