I think that about sums it up rather succinctly.
Apparently the nasty little spud is retaliating against the former prosecutor who brought charges against him and his pals against their phone tampering of a Democratic Senator. O'Keefe and his cohorts showed up at his house asking to speak to him and when chased away found him at his new place of employment - Tulane University.
James Letten gave O'Keefe him a righteous earful
"You went to my house, you terrorized my wife, you're violating federal law, you're trespassing, you're a nasty little cowardly spud," Letten says in the video. "All of you, you're hobbits. You are less than I can ever tell you. You are scum. Do you understand?"
which was recorded by both of them. O'Keefe tried to foist his 'book' onto Letten (as if) and this encounter was then made into a video by O'Keefe. The moron makes a video defending his actions quoting the First Amendment giving him the right to approach any individual on private property and insist they submit to questioning because he is a 'member of the press' just like Fox except without the big logo.
Kudos to Letten, I couldn't have said it any better.

12:33 PM PT: From the comments, a very good take on why you don't just walk up to the house of your prosecutor and ask his wife to speak to him.
In his mind, O’Keefe is a former criminal defendant who showed up at Letten’s home and talked to his spouse. That taps into the deepest, darkest fears of prosecutors. It’s in a different category than the usual O’Keefe on-camera gotcha and may explain in part why the man who took down Edwin Edwards is so livid in that video.
