OK, peeps, it's on all of us tonight. I got nuttin. Just plain out of ideas today. Hit the wall in terms of summer's end and tomorrow's return to school for my daughter. Skipped a big Democratic Party get-together on account of fatigue. Simply one of those days.
But you, my friends, might be feeling bright and chipper. I do hope so. Feel free to share an update, ask a question or two, post a joke--whatever strikes your fancy.
I'll be in to check on comments but also distracted by last-minute school prep. It's my younger daughter's senior year in high school; I certainly hope that every last moment of it won't feel as monumental. Could be, though. It definitely feels like a BFD already.
Monday Night Cancer Club is a Daily Kos group focused on dealing with cancer, primarily for cancer survivors and caregivers, though clinicians, researchers, and others with a special interest are also welcome. Volunteer diarists post Monday evenings between 7-8 PM ET on topics related to living with cancer, which is very broadly defined to include physical, spiritual, emotional and cognitive aspects. Mindful of the controversies endemic to cancer prevention and treatment, we ask that both diarists and commenters keep an open mind regarding strategies for surviving cancer, whether based in traditional, Eastern, Western, allopathic or other medical practices. This is a club no one wants to join, in truth, and compassion will help us make it through the challenge together.
