On Wednesday, Daily Kos reported that Pennsylvania Governor Tom Corbett (R) was touting the state labor department created "jobs portal" as proof that there were 200,000 jobs to be found in his state. The problem was that these were jobs reposted from Craig's list including exotic dancers and "casting couch openings." http://www.dailykos.com/...
The timing of the announcement of this employment resource is fortuitous. Now it would appear several Corbett appointees, who have worked for him since his days as Attorney General, with their revised resumes and LinkedIn profiles, will be needing to consult that very same jobs portal in their search for new employment.
On Friday Corbett disclosed the resignations of Environmental Protection Secretary Christopher Abruzzo and Glenn Parno, a top lawyer in the Department of Environmental Protection, in separate announcements hours apart, in a "widening scandal over the exchange of emails containing pornography." Corbett was the state's Attorney General at the time the emails were exchanged. These emails were discovered during Kane's review of the Jerry Sandusky child sex abuse prosecution. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/...
A third appointee, Randy Feathers, was also called on to resign by the governor but he refused to give up his $116,000-a-year seat on the state Board of Probation and Parole.
In a letter to Corbett, Randy Feathers said he wants Democratic Attorney General Kathleen Kane to appoint an independent forensic expert to review what Kane described as inappropriate emails linked to Feathers that were provided to the governor's office at his request.

Feathers formerly served as a regional director of the attorney general's narcotics bureau under AG Corbett, and was involved in the Jerry Sandusky child sex investigation.
Kane took Corbett's old job last year and is the "first Democrat and the first woman to be elected attorney general."
Last week, Kane identified eight former office employees who sent or received hundreds of pornographic images or videos in emails that were discovered during her review of the Sandusky prosecution.
A fourth Corbett appointee, state police Commissioner Frank Noonan, was also a part of the investigation but according to the governor did not actively participate in the exchange of emails. Noonan is currently directing the manhunt for the gunman who shot two Pennsylvania State Troopers last month.
A review of the heavily redacted emails revealed an abundance of comments that were sexually suggestive, mostly about photographs that were originally attached to the emails but were not included in the released material.
Some of the more than 300 emails that the attorney general's office says Noonan received bore sexually tinged subject lines, such as "Bikini Wax Job."
Another message, received by some but not all of the participants, included a slur used against people of Arab descent and others who wear headdresses. Others expressed insensitive remarks about gays.

All of this couldn't come at a worse time as Corbett was already struggling in his reelection campaign against Democratic challenger Tom Wolf. Darn!
If not publically jumping for joy, Democrats must at least be privately celebrating the moral and ethical downfall of yet another Republican administration. Now it is not as though Democrats are immune from these kind of scandals, but it is the Republicans who ride on their high horse and proclaim they are the party of family values and law and order. And while it can be considered bad form to celebrate the demise of political foe, the wounds of this most recent GOP fail, uncovered by a Democratic AG, are self inflicted and just further evidence of their moral hypocrisy.
If this sordid scandal does lead to Corbett's loss in November it will be another dark chapter in the sad story that began with the sexual abuse of children at Penn State by assistant football coach, Jerry Sandusky, and directly led to the downfall of the late, legendary coach, Joe Paterno.
3:13 PM PT: According to some PA Kossacks the Corbett appointees were indeed using government computers during working hours to share porn.
