Michelle Obama Complimented Vidal and winked at Hillary
" Here you had a female president and now a VP, milestones that we have not reached in the US", affirmed the First Lady.
Obama used the first part of her speech to try to inspire young female students based on her own personal biography, and also reclaim equal opportunities. "The women here in Argentina and in the US face the same challenges: we demand equal pay for equal work or the end of the violence that should not happen in any part of the world", the first lady reaffirmed.
From El Diario "El sutil machismo de pedirle a Hillary Clinton que sonría" ( the subtle machismo of asking Hillary Clinton to smile)
Solo has tenido una buena noche"...
While Hillary Clinton gave her victory speech after Super Tuesday, the MSNBC host , Joe Scarborough, tweeted two phrases that most american women has heard at some moment in their life.
"Smile. You've just had a good night"…
… that viral moment is part of a larger tendency of this primary season. The explicit machismo that Clinton's 2008 presidential campaign suffered has been somewhat neutralized or condemned as something unacceptable. The visceral response against Scarborough demonstrates how tired women are to have to explain over and over agains how machismo works.
Of all the things we might hear from men- like cat calling in the streets or TV critics- there exists a special contempt towards that "smile", because of its condescending meaning and for the cliché that women must always be happy, even when walking down the streets or — I don't know- you run for President of the United States

From El Vigía "Hillary: Una Alumna Aplicada" Hillary: A Studious Student
In the middle of modern glass stores, gourmet coffeeshops, and a posh movie theatre in the norther part of Virginia, Lola Quintela walks with the hurry of a volunteer who, since 2015, has not wasted time in her job to elect Hillary Clinton as the next president of the United States.
Bolivian immigrant and US citizen since 2000, Quintela is part of the army of Democratic activists that were able to snatch Virginia from the Republican Party in 2008 and 2012.
"I was brought up under a dictatorship all my life, military dictatorship in Bolivia. From one to the other, from one to the other. But in my house we always talked about politics", says Quintela, 55 years old.
In charge of collecting signatures for Hillary for the Virginia Primaries, Quintela saw her efforts rewarded when this and other states gave ex President's Bill Clinton wife a clear victory over her rival, the socialist senator Bernie Sanders.
"I always compare her to the best 5th grade student: the one that does her homework impeccably, perfect, books with their covers covered, highlighted books", defines Quintela.
