The House Administration panel just voted 6-3 to get rid of the Election Assistance Commission, charged with helping states improve voting systems.
They will make it as hard as possible to vote. Our response is to somehow create a framework where people have the necessary ID to vote in states actively suppressing the ability of citizens to vote. In a previous post, I listed some of the groups already working with these issues.
This is not MY group. This is OUR group. I don’t see myself as a leader, just someone who is facilitate the discussion, along with a lot of other people. So I encourage your thoughts and comments about how we move forward.
On a personal note, I will be traveling and taking care of emergency family matters. I will be checking in, but my available time is minimal at present.
