In this week’s update to the Master Trump Russia Timeline we have a brand new government shutdown as a result of ShitHole-Gate and various reports involving statements by people involved in the Russia investigation as well as the revelation that Trump had an affair with Adult Film star Stephanie (Stormy Daniels) Clifford which she has finally admitted and that his attorney Michael Cohen had violated FEC rules by setting up a bogus LLC to funnel $130,000 worth of hush money to her through her attorney under the false name Peggy Peterson during the last month of the election.
Can you say “pack of lying corrupt assholes?”
Speaking of liars, Homeland Secretary Kirsten Neilsen — who used to be Gen. John (the not that closeted Racist) Kelly’s chief deputy — gave a pathetic performance to the Senate Judiciary committee where she magically seemed to recall what Sen. Lindsey Graham said to Trump using “rough language” in response to his bigoted, racist statements about not wanting people from Shithole Countries like Haiti, El Salvador and Africa in the U.S as opposed to people from Norway, yet she just couldn’t recall Trump having said that in the first place.
This of course was the discussion that derailed Immigration negotiations, and have now led directly to Democrats deciding to hold the line and shutdown the government until they have a serious deal on DACA. What most people fail to realize about this is that it doesn’t matter who started the shutdown, what matters is who ends it. Gingrich and Clinton shutdown the government in the 90’s over Medicaid and Medicare funding — Clinton won that because Gingrich caved. Ted Cruz shutdown the Government in 2013 while trying to stop the ACA for going into effect, ultimately Cruz caved.
Whoever caves this time — loses.
Just for the record, while Trump and Kelly are super triumphant about how well they been handling border security and accelerating deportations the actual facts are that FY2017 border apprehension were only 310,531, which is the lowest they’ve been in decades, last year In FY2016 their were 415,816 border apprehensions. Also interior deportations are actually down compared to Obama’s numbers. During Trump’s first year DHS has conducted an additional 33,000 Administrative Arrest and almost doubled the number of detainer requests for criminals in custody of local officials from 86,026 to 142,356 but those haven’t actually resulted in more deportations as 226,119 were removed in FY2017 compared to 240,255 the previous year and 235,413 in 2015. So they may take a lot of credit, and have made a big show of more and more arrests — the increased proportion coming mostly from people who have no criminal record — they aren’t actually generating the results they claim they are.
They also tried to claim that most Terrorist are Immigrants when they really aren’t.
Both Steve Bannon and Corey Lewandowski spoke to House Intel and refused to answer questions. Bannon upped the ante on Don Jr’s previous refusal to answer any questions about discussions with his father arguing that it would violated “attorney client privilege” since some lawyers were in the room at the time, even though he’s not a lawyer and White House counsel isn’t protected by that privilege since they aren’t the Trump’s lawyer, they are the lawyer for the White House. Bannon claimed that he couldn’t answer any questions about his time in the White House, and also his time on the campaign — saying that it would violate “Executive Privilege” even though Trump wasn’t the Executive during the campaign. Apparently this refusal to answer certain questions was communicated to Bannon through his attorney Bill Burck — who also happens to be Reince Preibus and WH Counsel Don McGhan’s lawyer — in phone communication with the WH, and was apparently directed by Trump himself. Obstruction much?
Bannon did however let slip that he had did tell Michael Wolff that Don Jr’s Trump Tower meeting with Russians was “treasonous” proving yet again that Trump and Huckabee-Sanders are liars, and that he was part of a discussion about that meeting with Preibus, Sean Spicer and Mark Corallo, the former spokesman for Trump’s personal lawyer Kasowitz who quit after the false Air Force One statement was crafted because he felt he was being asked to be part of an effort to obstruct justice.
Lewandowski’s excuse for not answering questions is even more lame because he was fired during the campaign and also doesn’t have any “executive privilege” to use an excuse, so instead he said he “wasn’t prepared” to answer any questions after he left the campaign, during the transition or the administration even though he seemed fully willing to give his every opinion on just about everything during that time while he was being paid by both CNN and Trump to do so.
Devin Nunes and House Republicans are continuing their jihad to have the Mueller investigation shutdown by now touting an alleged Secret Report about surveillance abuse by the DOJ and FBI, which has been massively hyped by Russian bots online and it turns out was written by GOP staffers.
However a report that has been released is the House Intel interview with Glenn Simpson of Fusion GPS who stated that the Steele Dossier was used by Russia as a excuse to implement a massive purge including the arrest of high ranking members of the FSB who have since been linked directly to the hacking attacks on the DNC and also Yahoo email accounts. Simpson also said that he hired Chris Steele because he suspected that Trump was involved with money laundering for Russia, some of which was potentially confirmed this week by Buzzfeed’s Thomas Frank who analyzed public records of Trump’s real estate business and found 1,300 condo and property sales and rentals that involved anonymous overseas shell companies paying in cash, which is a big red flag for Financial Crimes.
Also it appears that the Kremlin may have illegally funneled money into the Trump campaign through the NRA using life-time member, banker and Gangster Alexander Torshin as a go between.
Lastly Trump had to cancel his big first year celebration of his inauguration — which no President has ever thrown a $100,000 per head party over— because the government is shutdown since Gen. Kelly wouldn’t let him say “Yes” when Schumer put the border wall on the table in exchange for DACA and he can’t pay his staff to fly Air Force One to Florida.
I just have one thing to say about the Trump Administration — Big Dirty Shit Hawks.
Daily Details are as follows:
-
January 14th —
-
January 15th —
-
Trump declares “I am not a racist, I am the least racist person you’ve ever interviewed” to reporters in Florida which really doesn’t explain why he keeps going out of his way to make racist people like him, then he goes golfing again. Ivana tries to explain saying “he’s not racist, he just say silly things because he gets confused” — which is way better. Or not. Trump also says it was “Terrific’ how Hawaii handled the false nuclear alert” even though it took them 38 minutes to correct the mistake while everyone on the islands panicked in terror and it took him 2 days to say anything about it at all.

Bloomberg reports that starting in the late 90’s ownership of a Chromium Mine in Kazahkstan may have been an elaborate money laundering scheme that shifted funds from their employees, who were forced to sell their shares to a shell company in the British Virgin Islands, into the hands of Trump properties such as Trump Soho through Refik Arif and his brother Tevfik who is the owner of Bayrock LLC. More funds came also from Mukhtar Ablyazov the former head of a Kazahkstan’s BTA Bank who also embezzled over $2 Billion by shady loans to himself via shell companies he himself created and bought three condos in Trump Soho through his family and son-in-law Iliyas Khrapunov, who’d had previous deals with Bayrock’s Felix Sater, and a Troika of metals billionaires including Alexander Mashkevich and his two partners —Patokh Chodiev and Alijan Ibragimov — who also supplied Bayrock with cash through their holding company Eurasian Natural Resources Corporation Plc, (ENRC) which was forced off the European Stock Exchange by England Serious Fraud Office due to their rampant corruption. All of this is apparently now part of Mueller’s investigation into money-laundering associated with Trump properties.
-
Buzzfeed’s Thomas Frank reports that over 1,300 real estate transactions involving Trump Properties purchased by shell companies in cash which have the hallmarks of money-laundering as outlined by FinCen — all of which could have generated as much as $1.5 Billion in profits for TrumpCo accounting for 21% of their U.S. property sales. 77% of Trump Soho properties were bought by shell companies in cash.

-
Jake Tapper interviews Dick Durbin and he sticks to his guns about what was said in the immigration meeting saying that Trump apparently went on rambling about the subject for 30 mins. He also states that Lindsey Graham had responded directly in the moment and challenged Trump saying “America is not about where you come from, my own family came from Shithole countries…”. He essentially blows off Cotton and Purdue’s new excuse that he said “Shithouse” instead of “Shithole” as if that makes any real difference. “Is that their defense?”
-
Wapo Reports that WH Chief of Staff John Kelly had advised Trump to reject the bipartisan DACA deal last week arguing that it would be “bad for his agenda.” [It would get the Deplorables upset!] He’s apparently the one who made the case against TPS using his own prior experience as DHS Secretary. They also report that when Durbin suggested that Trump talk to the Congressional Black Caucus to get their buy in on the deal — particularly considering his comments on Africa — he blew him off with “You’ve got to be joking?”
-
Steve Bannon who is scheduled to meet with House Intel today is subpoenaed by Mueller to appear before his Grand Jury. He tries to stonewall the House Intel panel claiming the WH told him not to say anything even though they have no legitimate privilege claims so then they also gave him a subpoena on the spot.
-
Panama votes to boot Trump hotels out of the country.
-
Huckabee-Sanders tells Fox and Fools that reporters critical of Trump will “have a change of heart and give him positive press when they see their tax cut” — because of course journalistic integrity is entirely fungible depending on how big your bribe is in Trumpland. Besides most of them know that they’ll be seeing a tax hike in 2025 when the middle-class cuts expire.
-
3.2 Million Americans Lose Health Insurance at the end of Trump’s first year.
-
DOJ publishes a misleading ten page report that claims Immigration is linked to Terrorism giving examples of 542 people convicted of terrorists act, claiming 402 of them were “foreign born”. However many of them were convicted of actions overseas and extradited to the U.S. so “immigration” isn’t always a factor. Neo-Nazis, the Klan, Sovereign Citizens and anti-Abortion groups aren't included in the report, even if they are “foreign born” which means that even a Canadian Neo-Nazi would be considered a “Domestic Terrorist”. SPLC researchers have found that there have been twice as many incidents of White Domestic Terrorism in the U.S. since 2008 than Islamic Terror. The Intercept reports that this document was generated to bolster Trump retrograde immigration policies.
-
Pastor Mark Thompson states to MSNBC that Trump’s denials are “precisely what racists do. It takes an asshole to know what a shithole is.”
-
Huckabee-Sanders suggests that Trump “can’t be racist” because he gave money to Democrats and used to be on The Apprentice — “Why did NBC give him a show?” [Well, it’s not like he wears “I’m a Racist” tattooed on his forehead and you could also ask why someone gave Harvey Weinstein a movie studio?] Plus since there are allegedly behind-the-scenes Apprentice tapes of him saying “have you ever fucked N*gger pussy?” — I think Sarah should be ix-nay on the Prentice-Aay.
-
Former and current FBI agents tell Bloomberg that the DOJ giving House Intel Chief Devin Nunes access to sensitive internal files may put the identity of confidential informants at risk to being leaked for partisan purposes. [Hm, ya think?]

[No, he doesn’t] When CNN’s Jim Schuitto and other reporters attempt to ask questions they are shouted down by WH staffers and Trump tells them — “Out!”
-
Homeland Secretary Kiersten Neilsen Testifies before Senate Judiciary:
-
Sen. Durbin grills DHS Secretary Neilsen during a Senate Hearing, who was John Kelly’s former deputy and was also in the DACA meeting about what was said and the general policy position the Administration, she proclaims she “doesn’t recall” what was said exactly, but that “tough language” was used by both Trump and others. [I would gather she means when Graham repeated Trump’s own words back to him, and her term “Tough Language” also happens to match Trump’s defensive tweet about it which was written by Kelly], but that resolution to the DACA issue continues to require additional Border Security funds. She claims that Trump only brought up Norway because he had just recently met with their prime minister, Durbin counters that “being from Norway is not a skill.”
-
Sen. Lindsey Graham says during questioning of Sec. Neilsen that this is becoming a “Shitshow” and questions how Trump went from “this is a bill of Love” to Haiti and El Salvador are “shithole countries.” He argues that we need to get to a deal that fixes DACA, secures our border and encourages merit based immigration that will discourage people from “cheating” by entering without documentation. [Which is BS because there is no legal path for poor blue color workers without corporate sponsorship via H2A/H2B Visas]. “We need to get this deal done.” He says to reporters that Trump will not be well served by staffers [Kelly!!!] “who have an irrational view of how to get immigration done.”
-
Sen. Kamala Harris directly challenges Homeland Secretary Nielsen’s competence when she says “she doesn't know if Norway is predominantly white”, points out that she failed to mention the threat of White Domestic Terrorism, and questions how DHS has begun targeting individuals with no criminal history by an increase of 3x, and claims DACA recipients “aren’t a priority for removal” except that their already being removed and she wasn’t aware thousands of them have already lost their status.
-
Sen. Cory Booker blasts Nielsen for claiming “she doesn’t remember” what Trump said, yet somehow she remembers with Sen Graham said in response, then lists all the racists remarks recently made by Trump and White Supremacist Terror attacks. She also admits she’s never met a “self identified” DACA recipient face to face.
-
Federal Judge lifts home confinement for Rick Gates.
-
Adam Schiff states that Bannon was given a subpoena because he refused to answer any questions about the Transition, his time in the Administration and his time after the he left it. They had gone back to the WH for a reaction and the WH still instructed Bannon not to answer but didn’t invoke executive privilege — which is totally out of order and will send this issue into court, well, if Republicans allow it that is.
-

-
AP reports that Bannon’s Lawyer Bill Burck was in real-time contact with the WH during his House intel interview and followed their instructions to have him refuse to answer any questions about his time during the transition and within the administration. This begs the question was he serving the interests of Bannon or his other client WH Counsel Dan McGhan here?
-
Corey Lewandowski is interviewed by House intel and he also refuses to answer questions — even though he was never a WH employee — claiming that he “isn't prepared” to discuss anything after he left the campaign. Which was like — when he was working for CNN and still being paid by Trump on the side? He was still there when Papadopoulos was dealing with the Russians and sending him status reports about it, even though he was gone by the time Carter Page went to Russia [ikely in Trump’s stead] on his own orders.

Kelly admits during the meeting that Trump is “uninformed” on how the wall will need to be constructed and where it can be located. [No, shit!] He also says the Mexican Drug Cartels are “very smart, good businessmen” [Uh, ok].
-

-
Eric Trump says his dad is too greedy to be Racist “He only see one color, Green. He only cares about the economy” [Which, actually, he’s done nothing to help and may have setup a stock bubble time bomb with his tax bill that will destroy it.] He also calls ISIS a “Thing of the past” — which i think quite a few people in Syria and Libya would disagree with, also isn’t saying that sort of thing prematurely exactly what people say Obama got wrong about Benghazi? And also again that might disappoint his dad since he’s now a “Terror Booster” in order to keep control of Congress.
-
Newsweek reports that the Sessions DOJ is considering arresting local politicians and officials for Sanctuary City policies.
-
Sen. Grassley argues that H1B Visas for high skilled foreign workers are driving down wages for Americans — how exactly that works he doesn’t explain unless he’s suggesting that U.S. Companies are engaging in systematic wage theft against Foreign workers, nor does he explain how limiting H1B Visa extensions plays out against Trump’s “Merit Based” immigration model since being “high skilled” would seem to be “meritorious”, kinda.
-

-
Politico reports that Bannon attempted to claim that the entire Russia investigation is merely an attempt to “delegitimize the election results” — [kinda like Birtherism, eh?]. Rep Steve King [R-NY] says he’s considering filing contempt charges against Bannon if he continues to duck questions. [He will!]

It also may have violated Federal elections laws because paying Daniels to be silenced was essentially an in-kind corporate donation to the Trump Campaign.
