You may recall that last fall, a rabidly pro-Trump Twitter user, “@Fuctupmind,” tweeted a violent GIF showing Hillary being knocked down by a Trump tee shot.
That GIF gained fame—or rather, infamy—when Trump himself retweeted it.
Well, it looks like Mikey has gone fast and far since then. Back in April, he tried to lecture Kamala Harris on border security. I wondered how a guy who created an outrageously violent and hateful GIF could even think that he could lecture a Senator. It turns out that by then, he had 47,600 followers—most of whom undoubtedly followed him after 45 retweeted him. Remember, when you are president, a retweet is an endorsement.
On Saturday night, someone must have told Mikey about it, because he pitched a hissy fit on Twitter. One of his friends found my handle. But am I afraid? Not by a longshot.
So it looks like I may be on the verge of a full-on deplorable attack. Gee, it’s been awhile since I’ve been the target of a wingnut trolling campaign. That was two years ago, when I came to the defense of Aubrey Perry after a bunch of deplorables ganged up on her for daring to distance herself from her Trump-worshiping parents.
So apparently in Trumpland, you aren’t allowed to call out someone for condoning violent attacks on Hillary. If doing so gets me trolled, I say, “Bring. It. On.”
