It has now been over a year since Congressman Tom Reed (NY-23) and Congressional Republicans failed to deliver on their promises to pass their infrastructure plan within the President’s first 100 days in office. Every week, there seems to be an excuse that pushes our nation’s crumbling infrastructure to the backburner. Now, Congress says they won't even touch the issue until next year.
NY-23 includes 11 counties in Southern Tier and Western New York
NY-23 is a predominantly rural district in Upstate NY. It needs a bold and innovative vision for infrastructure development. It needs a plan that can help us take advantage of our plentiful renewable energy sources. It needs broader access to high-speed internet and better cell phone coverage to attract new businesses so that its farms, small towns and cities can stay connected and keep pace. Most of all, NY-23 needs a new Congressional representative with the perseverance and fire in the belly to make that happen.
Republican Congressman Tom Reed has been a complete and total failure. It’s time for him to go. We no longer need an ineffective “representative” that constantly prioritizes his “out of state” donors over his own constituents.
Tracy and her partner knocking on doors
Meet Tracy Mitrano. She’s ready to take the lead on infrastructure. She’s ready to create more jobs and expand economic opportunity across NY-23 by investing in our communities, neighborhoods, and ourselves.
The presumptive front-runner in the NY-23 Democratic primary, Tracy has been out knocking on doors and phone banking. She’s deployed hundreds of volunteers throughout NY-23’s 11 counties. She’s ready to flip NY-23 which has been deemed one of 68 “Majority Maker” districts that can be flipped in November.
