Take the poll about your plans for the Trump Fourth of July
I’ve seen enough firework displays to last the rest of my life. In fact every summer when I was a child we went to Oakland Pool across from Playland Amusement Park and stayed late on the Fourth to watch the fireworks from Rye Beach Playland which was right across from us on Long Island Sound.
I know lots of people love fireworks and some who don’t will take their children who will be delighted to see them.
This being said, they are many ways people can watch Trump’s “It’s All About Me” fireworks show and that many people want to see the fireworks which should prove to be truly spectacular. Let’s face it, he will make this spectacle of grandiosity truly spectacular. Because he didn’t get the parade he promised to put wanting to put to shame Macron’s parade in his honor (another Trump promise he broke) he will order a the biggest bestest fireworks display since this one, the biggest even than the current record holder:
The largest firework display consisted of 810,904 fireworks and was achieved by Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church of Christ) (Philippines), at the Countdown to 2016 New Year Celebrations, in the Philippine Arena, Ciudad de Victoria Bocaue Bulacan, Manila, Philippines, on 1 January 2016 Reference
Of course there will be the flyover which you can see from anywhere in and near Washington:
This is from The Washington Post:
Trump plans Air Force One flyover of Mall for July Fourth celebration (Posted in the Climate and Environment section!)
President Trump plans to have U.S. military planes, including one of the jetliners used as Air Force One, fly over the Mall as part of his Fourth of July celebration next month, according to three people briefed on the plans.
The flyover reflects Trump’s long-standing interest in replicating the Bastille Day celebration he observed in France in 2017 and his desire to throw an extravagant patriotic celebration, according to the people, who spoke on the condition of anonymity because final plans have not yet been announced. He has regularly been briefed on the event.
Under the arrangements, Trump would not be on board the presidential Boeing jetliner as it flew overhead, the people familiar with the plans said.
I expect he’ll demand an even million dollar fireworks display rounding off the number just for bragging that was roundly debunked that he had the large inauguration crowd in history.
If you want to see the fireworks, there are many alternate places to watch them from. In fact there are at least 14 of them. Here they are:
