Ooh, boy. Trump is going to lose whatever scintilla of a mind he has left.
The senior Trump administration official who wrote that anonymous (and utterly scathing) New York Times column in 2018 — come on, you remember the one — is publishing a new insider’s account of the Trump administration next month.
The Washington Post:
The book, titled, “A WARNING,” is being promoted as “an unprecedented behind-the-scenes portrait of the Trump presidency” that expands upon the Times column, which ricocheted around the world and stoked the president’s rage because of its devastating portrayal of Trump in office.
The column described Trump’s leadership style as “impetuous, adversarial, petty and ineffective,” and noted that “his impulsiveness results in half-baked, ill-informed and occasionally reckless decisions that have to be walked back.”
As with the original op-ed, the book will be bylined “Anonymous,” and it’s scheduled to be released on November 19. This statement from the publisher should pique the interest of, well everyone: “Picking up from where those first words of warning left off, this explosive book offers a shocking, firsthand account of President Trump and his record.”
I kind of thought all along the author was Mike Pence. But could that dude really write a book? Or, rather, could he find time to write one during the rare moments when his lips aren’t sutured to Trump’s ass?
Anyway, this should be fun. Stay tuned.
