The order also includes restrictions on visits to nursing homes, retirement homes, and long-term healthcare facilities. Restaurants are still allowed to be open for take-out, drive-thru or delivery service.
This is not yet a “shelter in place” order, however the governor urged all Texans to work from home if possible.
Texas currently has 160 confirmed cases of COVID-19, although that number is likely to grow rapidly as testing increases.
