Lets look at a few things we know about the Trump administration:
1) The administration has shown itself to be completely indifferent to human suffering. Look no further then the treatment of asylum seekers coming to our borders. www.theatlantic.com/...
2) The administration has shown itself to be absolutely and completely political, even when it comes to disasters and human life is at stake. www.nbcnews.com/… or www.politico.com/...
3) The administration’s words and actions often diverge greatly, to the point of being diametrically opposed.
Notice that states with ‘significant’ Covid-19 epicenters, including Massachusetts, New York, Illinois, and California, are all heavily blue states with large, dense cities. For some reason, ‘not a shipping clerk’ Trump’s administration is actively competing with them for medical supplies. www.boston.com/… or www.wbur.org/… .
What do you want to bet that as soon as Florida, Texas, South Carolina, or Ohio has a major Covid-19 epicenter develop, that there will be an ‘all hands on deck’, whole-of-government response as Trump tries to use the crisis for cheap political gain?
