The Defense Department's top financial official, Dov Zakheim, is resigning from his job effective April 15 for personal reasons, a Pentagon official said.
"I am leaving because I've served three very arduous years in this job," Zakheim said in a statement.
He has been offered a partnership with Booz Allen Hamilton, a management and consulting firm for international corporations and government clients.
That has to be a coup for Booz Allen Hamilton, if they get him - who better to let them know what contracts are coming up, are vulnerable, and where the big money is easiest available.
He has to make a living, but this sure stinks to me.
