Not really but stay with me for a moment.
CNN is reporting 8,175 Iraqis killed another 12,000 wounded. A little bit of internet snooping and I found a 1997 estimate for Iraq's population at 22,219,289 people.
9.0799e-4 % of the Iraqi population have become casualties in just the last six months of this war.
9.0799e-4 of the U.S. population is 269,215 people. That's about equal to half the population of Wyoming or the population of Tampa, Florida.
Just a little bit of perspective.
