Well after almost 11 years away from being in a classroom I will finally be going back to school this fall. I started college back in 2000-02 but after a couple of semesters I started playing in bands and when I finally played live that was it. I was hooked. Everything else in my life got the volume turned down and I forgot all about school. Fast forward 11 years and as you might have guessed my dreams of rock n roll stardom didn't materialize. Actually I never thought I'd be rich or famous. I just wanted to put off becoming an adult for a while longer. In that aspect I was a stunning success. I'm getting older now though and I have to start honestly thinking about a real future and some security. As I have been applying and registering with different schools one thing has become glaringly obvious. The people who work in the student finance departments are the biggest assholes. I have dealt with a few different colleges and the admissions departments are all nice, friendly and ready to answer any question but the student finance people all act rude, impatient, they constantly give conflicting and wrong information and to top it all off they act like they are doing me a favor. I'm not expecting to have my ass kissed and my d!ck sucked but for 45k you would think they could treat people with a little more respect. I seriously hope Sen. Elizabeth Warren someday sticks it to them.
