Donald Trump pretends he's some sort of Foreign Policy expert ...
When it’s clear to any objective observer that Donald Trump is far more a Foreign Policy “threat" — than he ever will be an “expert” on the subject. Mr. Trump lacks the basic curiosity that it takes to ever become an “expert” on any serious presidential responsibility.
He prefers his PDB’s to be in VERY large font, or better yet with cartoons (televised), and as infrequent as humanly possible. Make it so, Generals!
But tragically far too many have forgotten the “daily chaos,” that WAS the first Trump presidency. We’ve seen this movie before — the planned sequel should be exponentially worse.
Just look at WHAT this moron brags about …

Trump held a rally in Florida Tuesday night during which he also talked about NATO — specifically how little he knew about it going into his presidency and how he threatened to allow attacks on members who were “delinquent”:
[… Donald Trump, Rally in Doral, Florida on Tuesday, July 9, 2024: ]
You know I saved NADDO [sic] because when I went down — hey, Barack Hussein Obama, has anyone ever heard of him?
He would go, he would go and, you know, go to wherever the holding had a meeting and he’d make a nice speech and Bush would go and make a nice speech and he would leave, in all fairness. Bush, Bush!
But he makes a nice speech and they’re all going to make speeches, and then they wouldn’t even stay there a day.
I went and didn’t make a nice speech. I said, what the hell are you doing? Nobody’s paying, nobody was paying.
And I didn’t want to be obnoxious because I felt it was the first time I’d ever done this. And what? I didn’t even know what the hell NATO was too much before, but it didn’t take me long to figure it out. Like about two minutes.

Former President Donald Trump again said Wednesday that if he returns to the White House, he would not defend NATO members that don’t meet defense spending targets, days after he set off alarms in Europe by suggesting he would tell Russia to attack NATO allies he considered delinquent.
Speaking at a campaign rally in South Carolina, he retold the story of his alleged conversation with the head of a NATO member country that had not met its obligations. This time, though, he left out the line that drew the most outrage — encouraging Russia “to do whatever the hell they want.”

Trump says he would encourage Russia to ‘do whatever the hell they want’ to any NATO country that doesn’t pay enough
CNN — Feb 11, 2024

Trump said “one of the presidents of a big country” at one point asked him whether the US would still defend the country if they were invaded by Russia even if they “don’t pay.”
“No, I would not protect you,” Trump recalled telling that president. “In fact, I would encourage them to do whatever the hell they want. You got to pay. You got to pay your bills.”
President Joe Biden said Sunday that Trump “is making it clear that he will abandon our NATO allies” and outlined the potential consequences of Trump’s comments.
“Trump’s admission that he intends to give Putin a greenlight for more war and violence, to continue his brutal assault against a free Ukraine, and to expand his aggression to the people of Poland and the Baltic States are appalling and dangerous,” Biden said in a statement via his campaign.

And this just in: Trump doubles down on his Putin-empowerment plans/promises … he’s just got to first find the perfect shade of egg-shell for his “surrender flags” ...
Trump advisers envision a ‘radical reorientation’ in which Washington takes a back seat to Europe — and cuts a deal with Putin over Ukraine.
Politico — July 2, 2024

In return for continued U.S. participation, Trump would not only expect that European countries drastically increase their spending on NATO — his main complaint when he was president — but also undertake what one defense expert familiar with the thinking inside Trump’s national-security advisory circle, Dan Caldwell, describes as a “radical reorientation” of NATO.
[...]
A swift resolution of the two-and-a-half-year Ukraine conflict would also likely play a key role in Trump’s plans for NATO. As part of a plan for Ukraine that has not been previously reported, the presumptive GOP nominee is mulling a deal whereby NATO commits to no further eastward expansion — specifically into Ukraine and Georgia — and negotiates with Russian President Vladimir Putin over how much Ukrainian territory Moscow can keep, according to two other Trump-aligned national security experts.

Neither Trump nor his campaign has yet named a new national security team or openly embraced a new agenda for NATO. The campaign did not respond to several requests for comment for this article.

And speaking of “gaffes” — let’s not forget how often Donald Trump confuses his N-names …

Trump also tried to explain away his remarks in January in which he repeatedly confused [Nikki] Haley for former U.S. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, drawing questions about his mental fitness. Both Biden, 81, and Trump, 77, face widespread questions among voters about their age and readiness for a second term.

This was in regards his blaming everyone — but himself — for his 3+ hours of inaction, as his militant Mob attacked the Capitol, on January 6th. As we all watch — horrified — on our TVs:
[...]
Trump first said that Haley turned down security offered by his administration on Jan. 6 and then again mentioned Haley, adding, “They destroyed all of the information, all of the evidence, everything, deleted and destroyed all of it.”
Trump, 77, has accused Pelosi of turning down security he says his administration offered, but a special House committee empaneled to probe the attack found no evidence to support that claim.

WHAT IN THE HELL kind of Foreign Policy “expert” — leaves the entire nation in limbo, wondering, how and even IF, America would survive that Trump-incited Insurrection?
A freaking PRETEND — and now Security Sellout — “expert,” that’s what kind. That’s who Donald Trump has always been. A conman, thief, hateful, unpatriotic, ignorant, bully, etc. etc. A Dolt who has no need for Treaties, or Alliances, or even the Constitution. Look at how he discards his own loyalists, like Bill Barr etc.
Lest the media forget his raging disqualifications for Office ever again. How ironic is it, that his myriad of Indictments and Convictions have become little more than footnotes, on his incompetence checklist.

The Washington Post reported on Wednesday that former President Trump made a total of 30,573 false or misleading claims during his time in office.
The Hill — 01/20/21
That’s one HELLUVA track record — even for that lying, ignorant Loser.
