What Dems want to do about the gun violence epidemic in America, MAGA advocates, via Project 2025, are planning to do to those who dare to seek Abortion care — they want to catalog it, track it, and ultimately prohibit it.
We are being warned.
Mandate for Leadership: The Conservative Promise

In addition, the next conservative Administration should rescind President Biden’s 2022 Gender Policy and refocus it on Women, Children, and Families and revise the agency’s regulation on “Integrating Gender Equality and Female Empowerment in USAID’s Program Cycle.”[10] It should remove all references, examples, definitions, photos, and language on USAID* websites, in agency publications and policies, and in all agency contracts and grants that include the following terms: “gender,” “gender equality,” “gender equity,” “gender diverse individuals,” “gender aware,” “gender sensitive,” etc. It should also remove references to “abortion,” “reproductive health,” and “sexual and reproductive rights” and controversial sexual education materials.

HHS* also pushes abortion as a form of “health care,” skirting and sometimes blatantly defying the Hyde Amendment in the process. Severino writes that the “FDA** should…reverse its approval of chemical abortion drugs because the politicized approval process was illegal from the start.” In addition, HHS programs often violate the spirit, and sometimes the letter, of conscience-protection laws. Severino writes that the HHS “Secretary should pursue a robust agenda to protect the fundamental right to life, protect conscience rights, and uphold bodily integrity rooted in biological realities, not ideology.” The next secretary should also reverse the Biden Administration’s focus on “‘LGBTQ+ equity,’ subsidizing single-motherhood, disincentivizing work, and penalizing marriage,” replacing such policies with those encouraging marriage, work, motherhood, fatherhood, and nuclear families.

Data Collection. The CDC’s abortion surveillance and maternity mortality reporting systems are woefully inadequate. CDC* abortion data are reported by states on a voluntary basis, and California, Maryland, and New Hampshire do not submit abortion data at all. Accurate and reliable statistical data about abortion, abortion survivors, and abortion-related maternal deaths are essential to timely, reliable public health and policy analysis.
Because liberal states have now become sanctuaries for abortion tourism, HHS** should use every available tool, including the cutting of funds, to ensure that every state reports exactly how many abortions take place within its borders, at what gestational age of the child, for what reason, the mother’s state of residence, and by what method. It should also ensure that statistics are separated by category: spontaneous miscarriage; treatments that incidentally result in the death of a child (such as chemotherapy); stillbirths; and induced abortion.

They want a detailed system of databases on Abortion recipients, methods and procedures, by state of residence — What could possibly go wrong? (Will a photo-copy of your drivers license and insurance plan, be enough for these conservative control-freaks? Who knows, in this new SCOTUS Homeland … thanks to Trump and McConnell.)
How condescending of them to call women in medical crisis: “abortion tourists.” How dare them.
These so-called “abortion tourists” had better think twice, before they decide to take matters into their own hands — and dare to go against the Heritage Foundation’s “personal freedoms” rules.
This conservative Think-Tank thinks they can write their own laws “Policies” — totally by-passing the Laws, that elected Congress has already written. (How “anti-democratic” of them. Once again: How dare them? Where will their over-reach end ...)

And I suspect the irony of this next Project 2025 instruction, to rein-in the Department of Commerce, is totally lost on its intended audience (you know, those self-proclaimed [hypocritical] conservatives so so damn tired of losing, according to Kevin Roberts’ “forward” in the Playbook) ...

When authoritarian governments explain what they plan to do, believe them unless hard evidence demonstrates otherwise. Case in point: China’s and Russia’s stated civil–military fusion policies demand central government command-and-control style systems in which every private entity serves the interests of the state and is forced to provide technology, services, capacity, and data to the central government and the military. Through this structure, commercial activities are routinely weaponized by authoritarian regimes that repeatedly identify the U.S. as an enemy. Accordingly, U.S. export control policies must be updated to reflect these realities and the associated threats to national security.
When authoritarian governments explain what they plan to do — we should believe them.
And do all we can to prevent them from enforcing their un-elected will on everybody else, in the first place. Speaking of “national security” threats — they need only look at their Putin sell-out leader.
This Project 2025 plan really needs to be shared with those who still believe personal choice should be a right. And NOT a Heritage Foundation-mandated restriction.

PS. Trump is surrounded by Project 2025 advisors — despite all his unconvincing “know nothing” denials.
By the way, Trump has already enacted parts their Federal Agency-take-over plan, via Executive Order in his first administration. Been there, Done that. [See: Executive Orders 13771, 13777, 13891, 13892, 13893, 13924 Section 6, 13979, 13980, and 13132. page 49.]
And these un-elected scofflaws, who have broken their oaths, have given Trump the green-light to carry out Project 2025 edicts, should he somehow fool enough voters, and gets to “rule America” again. This time in a non-watered down administration, unconstrained by “guardrails.”
Under the ever-present guidance of his “very smart advisors” …
When want-a-bee authoritarians tell you what they are going to do — believe them.
And vote accordingly. Like these former Republicans will be doing, in their on-going mini-wave:

Good to see so many “old school” patriotic Americans (rvat.org) waking up to the lunatic danger, that is Donald Trump. Maybe there is hope for a democratic America after all, to make it pass our 250th birthday ...
